Ian Kent is a Certified Massage Practitioner with 18 years and thousands of hours of table experience since graduating from the Esalen Institute in Big Sur California in 1996. He continued his education with Deep Tissue Massage training at Esalen in 1999; and in 2001 certified in Hot Stones massage from Phillips School of Massage in Nevada City, Ca.
Ian's journey as a body worker started by studying Advanced Polarity (Rakie) at the Mt. Madonna Center located in Watsonville, California and with Ed Jarvis in 1994. Ian Specializes in Esalen massage; long flowing full body strokes that flow from head to toe and relieves the stresses of everyday life! This flowing style leaves the receiver feeling whole and as one, integrated and deeply relaxed, and is left with a natural state of well-being.
Carina Franco, has been a Certified Massage Therapist since 1996 after graduating from Maui School of Therapeutic Massage in Hawaii. In combination with her previous background as a Physical Education Teacher/ Fitness Instructor and being an athlete herself she is offering a variety of therapeutic and holistic techniques to choose from to help clients to a healthier, happier, more relaxed and pain free body. Her specialty is addressing hip-, shoulder-back and neck problems with an emphasis on mobilization and stretching in combination with Massage treatment. Carina's massage techniques include the following modalities: Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Hot Stones, Hot Bamboo Fusion, Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy , Chair Massage and Lomi Lomi (Hawaiian Massage).
Kim Kinney is Certified Massage Therapist; A graduate from Five Branches University, and Twin Lakes College of the Healing arts, both located in Santa Cruz, California. Kim began training in 2013 focusing on Swedish and Sports massage then branched into Eastern styles of massage focusing on meridians, energy movement and body structure. Integrating Eastern and Western modalities addresses underlying issues while providing relaxing, therapeutic, and comforting massage. An outdoor enthusiast herself, Kim has many first experiences to the benefits of massage and the body's ability to heal. Through pressure points, stretching and effleurage every body has its own innate ability to heal and reconnect with itself. Kim has trained in the following modalities and would be happy to incorporate more or less of any particular style based on your preference. Swedish, Sports, Tigger point, Shiatsu, Thai, Deep Tissue, and Pressure points.
